Founder, Lead Educator
Anita Hartati, Registered Nurse
Anita firmly believes that education is not just the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire, a philosophy that guides her approach to teaching and leadership.
Anita’s career began in 2011 as a Registered Nurse. Anita's professional journey spans diverse roles including Clinical Nurse Specialist and Educator at Prince of Wales ICU and Diabetes Educator at Macarthur Diabetes Service. Her tenure as an Academic at Western Sydney University's School of Nursing since 2014 has been instrumental in nurturing the curiosity and continuous growth of over 1000 students. Complementing her experience, Anita holds a Master's in Nursing (Critical Care and Education) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Anita is recognised in nursing education for her approachability and engaging teaching methods. She has shared her expertise at multiple Nursing Symposiums and recently the Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Care 2023. With a research publication underway, Anita's dedication to lifelong learning and fostering inclusive learning environments highlights her as a valued educator in the field.
Anita Hartati established Progress Health Education in 2023 with the aim to elevate both education and care delivery in the community health, aged care and disability sector. Leveraging her project management experience in primary health care, she brings an understanding of business and strategic planning in healthcare, ensuring that Progress Health Education not only inspire learning but also improves business efficiency in the evolving healthcare industry.
